IRONTON — The Ironton Port Authority unanimously elected Paul Woods as chairman and Jodi Rowe-Collins as vice-chairman as its monthly meeting Tuesday night.
Woods, who was appointed to the IPA last month by Mayor Rich Blankenship, now heads up the five-member body responsible for creating and supporting economic development within the city of Ironton. He replaces Mike Haas whose term expired earlier this year.
An IPA veteran, Rowe-Collins currently serves as executive vice-president and chief operating officer of Ohio River Banks.
Also serving on the port authority board are Bill Dickens, Rob Slagel and Joe Isaac. Katrina Keith serves as the board’s executive secretary.
The Ironton Port Authority meets on the first Monday of each month in the “Fishbowl” at the Ironton City Center.
Its September meeting was held on Tuesday because of the Labor Day holiday.
