Oak Hill offense too much for RH

OAK HILL — Joey Maynard didn’t do it all, but he did a whole bunch.
The Oak Hill Oaks rolled up 504 yards of total offense with Maynard accounting for 208 himself in a 42-8 win over the Rock Hill Redmen Friday.
Maynard ran nine times for 122 yards and a score and also caught five passes for 86 yards and a touchdown.
Oaks’ quarterback Jesse Slone was 17-of-24 for 216 yards. The running game also had Western Hale with 77 yards on 20 carries while Devon Davis added 74 on four tries.
Rock Hill had 159 total yards with 110 coming on the ground. Steve Lewis led the Redmen with 63 yards on 18 attempts.
Jesse Layne had a 1-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter for Rock Hill’s only score.
