Carri Lea Jenkins McKnight, 33, of Ironton, passed away Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at her residence. The Ironton native was born Oct. 16, 1975, the daughter of Lynd Jenkins, Jr. and Patricia J. Samples Jenkins of Ironton.
Carri was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and Ohio University where she received her associate degree in business. She was a member of the Christian Faith Outreach in Ashland, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Lynd Jenkins and Ronald Samples; and her grandmother, Shirley Ashworth.
In addition to her parents, she left behind three beautiful daughters, Melanie Anderson, Caitlynd McKnight, and Lauren McKnight, all of Ironton; grandparents, Mary and John Thomas of Pine Grove; aunts and uncles, Myrtle and Kenny Meadows of Lexington, Ky., Sue and Johnny Keating, Debbie and Rick Jenkins, and Becky and Mike Jenkins, all of Ironton, Rhonda and J.R. Stevens of Russell, Ky., and Mike and Karen Samples of Golden Meadow, La.
She will be greatly missed by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who had an abundance of love for her.
