South Point tied the game with 3:14 to go on a goal by Matt Button.

The Flyers had 16 shots on goals while the Pointers had 11.

Despite having a young team this season with only five starters returning, Clyse has been happy with the team’s effort and attitude.

“This team gets along real well and they have a lot of good chemistry. The leadership from the captains is great and everyone is putting forth the effort in practice, so it’ll come together in the games,” said Clyse.

The Flyers play at 8 p.m. Thursday at Greenup County, Ky.
