WATERLOO — Geraline Miller, 82, of Waterloo, Ohio passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. The Lawrence County native was born June 5, 1927, the daughter of the late Denver and Ina Burcham McComas. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Miller, who passed away April 29, 1992.
Mrs. Miller was a graduate of Windsor High School in Scottown. She was a former cook for Waterloo Elementary and a member of the Waterloo United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Donald “Butchie” Miller; and a twin sister, Ernestine Montgomery
She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Donna Miller of Waterloo, Barbara and Joe Malone of Ironton, and Brenda and Guy Renner of Chillicothe; two brothers and sister-in-law, Derbert McComas of California and Cletis and Charlene McComas of Scottown; three grandchildren, Gwyn and Tom Adkins, Bryan Miller and Michelle and Jon Cook; a great granddaughter: Tea’ Adkins.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Rehobeth Methodist Church with Pastor Jan Thornton officiating. Burial will follow in Rehobeth Cemetery. Friends may call noon until the time of the service Thursday at Rehobeth Methodist Church. Donations may be made to Hospice Care Center, 2330 Pollard Road, Ashland, KY 41101.
