SOUTH POINT — Kenneth J. “Kenny” Sherman, 45, of South Point, passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2009.
The Lawrence County native was born March 13, 1964, the son of Pete Sherman of Ironton and the late Marilyn Moore Sherman.
Kenny was a graduate of Dawson Bryant High School in Coal Grove and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Joyce Ann Sherman.
In addition to his father, he is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Tina Sherman of Coal Grove; a brother, Brandon Sherman of Ironton; a sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Danny Smith of Ashland, Ky.; a sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Orlyn Owens of Coal Grove; a sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Tom Jones of Greenup, Ky; a fiancee’, Teressa Harrison of South Point and a daughter, Bethany Harrison of South Point.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Daniels Cemetery with the Rev. James Sherman officiating. There will be no public visitation. Phillips Funeral Home, is in charge of the arrangements. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.
