PIKETON — It’s called “toughing it out.”

Despite illness and injuries, the Ironton Fighting Tigers and Fairland Dragons turned in solid performances last Saturday at the Piketon Invitational cross country meet.

Fairland put together third place team finishes in both the boys’ and girls’ meets. Ironton’s boys were fifth while the girls’ team had only four runners and did not qualify in the team standings.
