RUSSELL, Ky. — Debra “Dobie” Grubb, 54, of Russell, Ky., formally of Cape Coral, Fla., died on Friday, Oct. 16, 2009 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky.
She was born on July 5, 1955 in Ashland and was the daughter of Donna Braden Jones of Knoxville, Tenn. and the late Phillip Grubb. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Herbie Grubb, maternal grandparents, Frank and Margie Braden and by her beloved dog, Dixie Cup.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by one son, Adam Stewart of Flatwoods, Ky.; two sisters, Colene Dalton of Worthington, Ky. and Kathy Grubb of Raceland, Ky.; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends who loved and will miss her.
