Luesetta Collins, 97, of Ironton, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky. The Aid, Ohio native was born Aug. 13, 1912, the daughter of the late James and Edith George Comer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charley Collins, who died in 1975.
Mrs. Collins attended schools in Aid and was a homemaker
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jessie Lue Townsend; first husband, Chester Townsend; three brothers, Bill Comer, Roy Comer and Pearl Comer; half brother, Frank Townsend and his wife, Zara; half sister, Pauline Spears; and a grandson, Joey Collins.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Charlene and Archie Graham of Ironton; a son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Janie Collins of Coal Grove; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
