The makeup of the Lawrence County Educational Service Center will stay the same thanks to the exactly the same number of candidates seeking the same number of seats available on the board.

Incumbents Philip Carpenter, Roland Hayes and Ray I. Malone had no opposition Tuesday. Of the three Malone was the top vote-getter, with 5, 171 ballots cast in his favor; Carpenter received 5,070 votes while Hayes collected 4,580 votes.

They will remain on the board with fellow incumbents Darrell Davis and Kenny Shafer.
