Two people arrested in connection with eastern end burglaries were among those indicted last week by a Lawrence County Grand Jury.

Christy L. Stone, 29, of 106 Ellis Drive, Proctorville, was indicted on three counts of complicity to commit burglary. An alleged cohort, Nicholas McCreery, 23, of Huntington, W.Va., was indicted on three counts of burglary and one count of resisting arrest.

Residents in the Rome-Proctorville area told authorities a couple in a black Land Rover were going door to door and, if they found no one home, were breaking into the homes.

If someone answered the door they would pretend they were looking for someone.

They were arrested after they were spotted in a neighborhood by several people, who called police.

Also indicted, an Ironton woman accused of stabbing two people earlier this year. Karen Lewis Holroyd, 40 Of 2608 S. Third St., faces two counts of felonious assault.

George Clutters, 53, 2426 ½ S. Fifth St., Ironton, possession of crack cocaine, obstruction of justice, resisting arrest.

Reynault Danos, 31, 3783 State Route 93, Ironton, failure to register as a sex offender, gross sexual imposition.

Amanda L. Blake, 29, 809 S. Ninth St., Ironton, aggravated trafficking in drugs, trafficking in drugs.

Charles P. Webb, 20, Ashland, Ky., failure to appear.

Frank Zeigler, 48, 1216 S, Fifth St., Ironton, aggravated trafficking in drugs.

Cole Friend, 22, 366 Big Doney Road, Ironton, theft.

Michael Webb, 28, 96 Private Drive 196, Township Road 111, Ironton, theft.

Ronald Witherel, 32, assault on a peace officer, resisting arrest and two counts of domestic violence.

Kathy Ross, 31, 4573 County Road 5, Pedro, three counts of burglary.

Okey Thomas Newsome, 49, Wellington, forgery.

Bradley Wilson, 36, 53 Private Drive 955, South Point, felony DUI.

Robert L. Belle, 27, 104 N. Jones St., Proctorville, theft of drugs, theft of drugs by deception.

Kevin Pennington, 20, 300 Township Rod 108, Ironton, breaking and entering, grand theft.

David M. Johnson, 31, 100 Ridgeway St., Coal Grove, felonious assault.

Andrew McClain, 22, 817 Lawrence St., Ironton, endangering children.

Michael Pennisten, 20, 106 Seventh St., Ironton, burglary, theft.

John Lawson, 29, 275 Township Road 1010, Chesapeake, felonious assault.

Michael E. Castle, 30, 1424 County Road 1A, Ironton, burglary.

Richard L. Maze, 22, Huntington, W.Va., two counts of breaking and entering.

David W. Farris, 51, Flatwoods, Ky., aggravated robbery and two counts of felonious assault.

Robert B. Williams, 29, 103 Fernwood Drive, Coal Grove, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Timothy L. Murdock, 46, State Route 141, Willow Wood, arson, theft and three counts of criminal damaging.

Candy J. Robinson, 25, 223 Township Road 1186, South Point, endangering children.

Brittany N. Lyons, 20, 105 Rowe St., Coal Grove, escape.

Carlton A. Davis, 38, 302 Washington St., Coal Grove, escape.

Additionally, there was one secret indictment alleging drug activity.

According to information from the Lawrence County Prosecutor’s Office, the grand jury met Thursday and Friday.
