COAL GROVE — William “Bill” Hilgenberg, 83, of Coal Grove, passed away Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 9, 1926 in Lawrence County, the son of the late William and Geneva Bryant Hilgenberg.
He was retired from Dayton Malleable and he was a Mason.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Floris Imogene Harrison Hilgenberg and one sister, Eloise Bazell.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Jerry Mullens of Coal Grove; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Joyce Hilgenberg of Deering, and Joseph and Sue Hilgenberg also of Deering; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Tracy Brammer Funeral Home with Dr. Kevin Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Zoar Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
