SCOTTOWN — Anthony Jay Lewis, 41, of Scottown, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009t at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jeremy L. Lewis and Molly Sue Woodard Crum, grand parents Harold E. Lewis Sr. and Virgie V. Lewis and a sister Valorie Sue Shumway.
He is survived by his loving partner, Dottie Clutters; one daughter, Mickie Cremeans; three sons, Joshua Lewis, Jeremy Lewis and William Cremeans; two grandchildren, Brady Lewis and Tanner Cremeans; one uncle, Dr. Harold E. Lewis, Jr.; one sister, Stephanie Crance; one brother, Curtis Crum; and several nieces and nephews.
Tony had two main forms of recreation, bowling and fishing, and he was very good at both. He will be sorely missed by his bowling buddies and his Canadian fishing family. He was custodian at the Sovereign Grace Missionary Baptist Church of Coal Grove.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Highland Memorial Gardens South Point with Pastor Albert Allard officiating. Visitation will be 6 – 9 p.m. today at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home.
