HQ Publishing welcomes new staff members

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — HQ Publishing Co., publisher of the Huntington Quarterly, Marshall Magazine, St. Mary’s Today and The West Virginia Lawyer, is pleased to announce the addition of two new employees to its staff.

Katherine Reasons-Pyles, a 2009 summa cum laude graduate of Marshall University, joins the company as its new managing editor.

Pyles, who was a Yeager Scholar at Marshall, majored in journalism.

She will oversee numerous aspects of each magazine, including editorial content, office management and advertising sales.

Casey Pauley-White joins the staff as its senior graphic designer. White is a 2008 cum laude graduate of Marshall University, where she received a fine arts degree with an emphasis in graphic design.

White’s experience includes numerous freelance design jobs. Her responsibilities include the design and layout of HQ publications and advertisements, advertising sales and the management of advertising clients.

“Both Katherine and Casey bring a commitment to excellence to their work, which is something all of our magazines strive to achieve,” said Jack Houvouras, president of H.Q. Publishing Co. “In addition, I am proud that all four employees of our company are distinguished graduates of Marshall University.”
