Charles E. “CB” Baker, 50, of Ironton, died Tuesday Dec. 15, 2009, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky.
He was the son of Peggy Baker Day of Ironton and the late Lawrence F. Baker II.
He was a member of First Methodist Church of Ironton. He was a graduate of St. Joseph High School 1977 and Ohio University. He was a past state master counselor of Ohio order of DeMolay and received the Chevalier Decree. He was a member of the Lawrence Lodge 198 F.&A.M.
He is survived by his mother; one brother and sister-in-law, John D. Baker and Judy Baker, one sister and brother-in-law, Charla “Sissy” and Robert “Bob” Clyse; three nephews, Tyler Clyse, Crosby Clyse, and John Baker II; and three nieces, Austin Clyse, Sunni Clyse, and Sydnee Baker.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence and Charla Baker and Bruce and Dovie Davis; one uncle, Bruce Davis and one aunt Jerry Bowman.
He was employed as a sales broker for N-Stock Box Inc. in Middletown.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Young officiating. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St Joseph Schools endowment fund.
