Norita Vivian Corn, 76 of Ironton passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky.
The Ironton native was born Sept. 7, 1933, the daughter of the late Edgar George and Mary Catherine “Mae” Anderson George.
Mrs. Corn was a 1951 graduate of St. Joseph High school, a member St. Joseph Catholic Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband John D. Corn whom she married April 22, 1953; a son and daughter-in-law, John David and Sheila Corn of Lexington, Ky.; and a grandson, Jason Corn of Lexington.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Sister Mary Janet George; and a brother, Edward W. George.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Calvary Cemetery with Father David Huffman officiating. There will be no public visitation.
