PHYLLIS MULLINS

Phyllis Anna Mullins, 72 of Ironton died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. The Washington, D.C. native was born May 20, 1937, the daughter of the late Lester Barrett and Florence Lowe Barrett Rann.
Mrs. Mullins was a graduate of St. Jafrazier High School in Washington, D.C. She was a Republican Central Committee Woman, a notary for many years, a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Mullins; a daughter Florence “Ginger” Belden; and a son Lee Allen Mullins.
She is survived by two sons, Billy Mullins and Thomas Mullins, both of Ironton; three daughters, Michelle and Roger Holston, Diana Nance and Kandi and Paul Smith, all of Ironton; a brother, Raymond and Carolyn Barrett of Columbus; seven grandchildren, Robbie and Courtney Nance, Erica Mullins, Ryan Music, Amanda Holston, Lane and Eli Smith; and a special friend, Wanda Jenkins.
