SPRINGFIELD — Erma I. Compliment, 83, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009.
She was born April 10, 1926, in Coal Grove, a daughter of the late Charles “Elmer” Fields and Mary Margaret (Mayenschein) Fields.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon (Compliment) and Jim Leathley; two grandsons, Brian Lethley of Medway and Kyle and Tonya Leathley of Hampstead, N.C.; four great grandchildren, Owen, Emily, Madison and Carson Leathley; sisters, Kate Keating of Coal Grove and Norma Cordell of Graytown; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl “Joe” Compliment and four brothers, Jim, Grover, Charles T. and Warren.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Carlisle with Fr. Michael Bidwell officiating. Burial will follow in Medway Cemetery.
