Dwight “Frank” Henry, 59, of Ironton, died Saturday Jan. 2, 2010, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. The Ironton, Ohio native was born Jan. 13, 1950, the son of the late Juanita Adams Mader.
Mr. Henry attended Coal Grove Schools and retired in 1988 as a maintenance worker for Dow Chemical. He was also a menber of the Tri-City Cycle Club in Forrestdale.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his second wife Lila Henry.
He is survived by son Larry Henry of South Point; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Brian Fradd of Kitts Hill; son, Scott Henry of Coal Grove; son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Molly Henry of Coal Grove; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Julie Jenkins of Auburndale, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Brandi Lively of Bartow, Fla.; son Ted May of Kitts Hill; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Larry Mader of Haverhill and Roger and Saundra Henry of Coal Grove; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bob Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Community Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. To offer condolences to the family please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.
