PEDRO — Stanley A. Mullins, 73, of Pedro, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.
The Cowen, W. Va., native was born Feb. 9, 1936 the son of the late Jay Mullins and Esta Cogar Mullins.
Mr. Mullins was a U.S. Navy veteran and he retired in 1987 after 26 years as a truck driver/mechanic for Pilot Freight Carrier. He had lived in this area since moving from Baltimore, Md., in 1991 and attended Fairmont, W. Va. schools.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Carry Zenn and a daughter, Robin Kolina.
He is survived by daughter, Esta Bolen of Ironton; a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Dale Davis of Kilmarnock, Va.; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Stanley A. Mullins Jr. of Perryville, Md., Jason and Kayla Mullins of Ashland, Ky., and Cody Mullins of South Point; a brother, James Mullins of Pennsylvania; a brother, Robert Mullins of Fairmont, W. Va., and three grandchildren, Jay Robert Mullins, Dustin Allen Mullins, and Hannah Rose Mullins.
Services will be at a later date. Phillips Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
