ASHLAND, Ky. — Do you think that there isn’t anything to do in the Tri-State? Try telling that to the staff at the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland.

The historic theater has a diverse lineup of acts set for early 2010 and event organizers hope there is something for everyone.

Here are some of the highlights:

“Le Grand Cirque” will swing into town at 7 p.m. February 20. “Spellbinding. Beyond belief and out of this world,” is how Jenny Holmes, marketing director at the PAC, describes the event.

Patrons can enjoy an internationally known orchestra, the Moscow State Radio Symphony Orchestra, at 7 p.m. Feb. 23.

Leapin’ lizards! “Annie,” the Broadway musical, will take the stage at 7 p.m. March 2.

“Rain, A Tribute to the Beatles” may be the next best thing to seeing the real band. The group features five costume and scene changes as part of a multi-media experience on at 8 p.m. March 11.

For the younger crowd, Nickelodeon’s Storytime Live! will bring to life some of the cable network’s most popular characters. Dora the Explorer, the Backyardigans, the Wonder Pets and Ni-Hao, Kai-lan will grab the spotlight in two shows, 4 and 7 p.m., on April 13.
