COAL GROVE — Danny R. Smith, 64, of Coal Grove, died Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.
The Grayson, Ky., native was born Sept. 23, 1945 the son of the late Jack O. and Isabelle Riffe Smith. He was the husband of Tammie McFann Smith, who survives.
He was a 1964 graduate of Dawson-Bryant High School and was a disabled truck driver working for several different local trucking companies. He was also a member of Zoar Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Danna Kristine Smith Hannah and a brother, Jack Smith.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Bettina Smith of Columbus; three daughters, Shayla, Harlea and Jackilyn Smith, all of Coal Grove; two brothers, Bob Smith of Winchester, Ky., and George Smith of Lewisburg, N.C. and one grandchild.
