George M. “Tiger Paw” Bini, 64, of Ironton, passed away Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky.
The San Francisco, Calif., native was born April 16, 1945, the son of the late Larry and Mable Bini. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lunsford Bini, whom he married June 25, 1982.
Mr. Bini was a graduate of Rondo Beach High School and was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. He was a former maintenance worker for the Dayton Malleable Iron Co. and former transporter for P.T.I for 15 years. He was also a member of the C.B. Club with the handle of Tiger Paw.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Bini, and a brother, Gullian Bini.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Nathan and Shellie Bini and Christopher Bini, all of Ironton and Steven and Lisa Bini of Zanesville; two step-children and their spouses, Christopher and Tammie Kellogg of Stanford, Ky., and Joanna and Paul Burger of South Point; 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one on the way; a sister, Paulette Bini of Oregon and an aunt, Georgia Bini of California.
There will be no funeral services and burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home.
