‘History Alive’ presents President Abraham Lincoln at OUS

IRONTON — “As I would not be a slave, so I would not be a master. This expresses my idea of democracy.” — President Abraham Lincoln.

History comes alive on the campus of Ohio University Southern at 7 p.m. Friday with a visit from America’s 16th President.

Lincoln will talk to all you loyal citizens about the pressing concerns facing our great nation: The great Civil War that we are fighting, slavery and reconstruction issues plus he will take questions from the audience. Photo opportunities will be available.
