ASHLAND, Ky. — Mrs. Virginia “Ginny” McBride Roth of Ashland, passed peacefully Sunday morning, Feb. 21, 2010, from Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky..
Mrs. Roth was 87 years of age, born Feb. 9, 1923 in Cumberland, Md., the only child of Ira and Lucille Drenning McBride. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ironton and enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends.
Ginny was widowed May of 2007 with the passing of her adoring husband of 63 years, Dr. Ralph Roth. Mr. and Mrs. Roth’s union was blessed with one beautiful daughter, Shelia Roth, who sadly preceded her loving parents.
Those wishing to honor Mrs. Roth in memorial may do so at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Rose Hill Cemetery Mausoleum. Pastor David Ritchie will share a message of grace and hope with those in attendance. The Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home on Panola Street in Catlettsburg is conducting services.
