Lena Anne Bowman, 68, went to be with her Lord Thursday, March 4, 2010.
She was a lifelong resident of the Ironton area.
She was predeceased by her mother and father, Margaret Harkless and Thomas Bowman; and a brother, William Bowman and a nephew, James Robert Bryant, both of whom perished in Vietnam. Left to mourn her passing are a sister, Lucille Bryant of Ironton, nieces and nephews,  Mary Ann Hunt of Ironton, Tammy Bolden of Jackson, Kathy Smith of Coal Grove, John Bryant of Grand Rapids, Mich. and James R. Bryant; Conway, Ark.
Lena was a passionate bowler and belonged to the Sunset Nursing Home League. She cared deeply about her family and will be missed by her many friends.
There will be no visitation or services. Arrangements are being handled by Hall’s Funeral Home in Proctorville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, Portsmouth, Ohio.
