I want to let the people of Lawrence County know how much I appreciate my library. I patronize the South Point Branch location.

What wonderful people! They never fail to smile and greet me or any other patron. They call me by name. They make sure to hold the books on my favorites list. This branch is always busy. Rarely does a computer sit idle. There is always an interesting educational program on the schedule which helps serve our community.

Yes, I am a teacher. I encourage all students to utilize this wonderful, free privilege.

It saddens me to see the hours our libraries are open had to be reduced.

This seems to have become a common practice in today’s economic times.

When funds become available, I hope our libraries can restore full time hours.

In spite of the salary cuts, these employees remain dedicated to serving all of us.
