ARGILLITE, Ky. — For one weekend each spring, Greenbo Lake State Resort Park turns into a veritable Mecca.

The annual Tri-State Model Railroad Show, sponsored by the Collis P. Huntington Railroad Historical Society, offers dozens of vendors selling railroad memorabilia and model train collectibles, miniature train rides for children and several working model train layouts.

“We have a 10’x 20’ circus train layout, we have a 16 foot x 24 foot Lionel O-gauge layout, an 8 foot x 40 foot HO gauge layout and a 12 foot x 16 foot N gauge layout,” organizer Dale Smith said.
