ASHLAND, Ky. — Second Free Will Baptist Church, Ashland, is proud to announce the “One Life Tour” coming to the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland on April 23 at 7 pm.

This contemporary Christian concert feature nationally known and Dove Award nominated groups 33 Miles and Pocket Full of Rocks as well as female trio Kimber Rising, featuring the Tri-State’s own Amanda and Brianna Wilcox.

The developing story of talented pop trio 33Miles goes hand in hand with the message of its completely heart-stirring second album, One Life. Group members Jason Barton (lead vocals), Chris Lockwood (guitar/vocals) and Collin Stoddard (keys/vocals) were taking a risk, giving their dreams a shot when they released their self-titled debut three years ago.

Validation was seemingly instant.

Concerts at more than 200 churches nationwide ensued, and radio spun several of the band’s songs into hits. Journalists also took notice, calling these humble guys “a talented and devoted group of performers who possess some amazing gifts for music” (InFuze Magazine).

Dove Award nominated Pocket Full of Rocks’ third album, More than Noise, in stores, encourages the church to experience true worship — something much deeper than just showing up for church on Sunday. Helmed by Ed Cash (Chris Tomlin, Leeland), this message is matched with stellar production.

“A lot of what I’ve been sharing out on the road deals with losing your religion and finding relationship with an amazing God,” says Michael Farren, the band’s lead singer/songwriter. “Much of our message is that you’ve got to make more than noise. It’s easy to just walk into a room, sing the songs on the screen and lift your hands; but if you can walk out and not be transformed or see the world around you transformed, then that wasn’t worship. Real worship comes with change, both in you, and the world around you. If you encounter a real God in a real setting of worship, you can’t leave the same.”

Tickets for the concert are on sale now at the Paramount Arts Center box office, Family Christian Store — Huntington Mall, Heavenly Treasures — Grayson, Ky., On Eagles’ Wings — Louisa or by calling (606) 324-3175. Floor seats are $14, balcony $10 in advance. All day of show tickets will be $16.
