Burglary, probation violation on court docket
Burglary and drunken driving were among the issues getting attention Wednesday in Lawrence County Common Leas Court.
Tony L. Wilson II, 19, of 2549 County Road 5, Kitts Hill, pleaded guilty Wednesday to complicity to aggravated burglary and complicity to aggravated robbery.
Judge Charles Cooper sentenced him to 4 years and 11 months in prison.
Robert B. Williams, 29, of 103 Fernwood Drive, Coal Grove, pleaded guilty to one felony count of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Cooper sentenced him to three years in prison and fined him $2,000.
Williams’ driver’s license was suspended for 20 years.
Robert B. Helms, whose last known address was 69 Township Road 1026, South Point, admitted he violated his probation and was sentenced to six months in prison.
He was on probation for failing to notify authorities of a change in his address which is required because he is a registered sex offender.
