LOGAN, W.Va. — Frances M. Moran of Logan, formerly of Ironton, died on April 21, 2010, at Trinity Health Center, Logan.
She was born Dec. 26, 1920, in Wheeling, W.Va., to Albert and Essie Ash.
Frances was a 1938 graduate of Ironton High School, a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She retired from the Lawrence County General Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Moran, a daughter, Jackie Coon, grandson, Jason Coon, sister, Jayne Blagg and brother, Wayne Ash.
Frances is survived by two daughters, Nancy Jane Craft (Bob) of Logan and Cindy Odekirk (Mark) of Cumming, Ga. She had four grandsons, one granddaughter, and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at noon Saturday at O’Keefe Baker Funeral Home with the Rev. Tex Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of the funeral Saturday at the funeral home.
