Going down took the St. Joseph Flyers up.

Pitcher Tanner Riley reverted back to his usual control as he pitched a 4-hitter with 15 strikeouts as the Flyers beat the Maysville (Ky.) St. Patrick Saints 10-1 Saturday.

“Riley kept the ball down today. His last game he threw it belt high and got hurt,” said Flyers’ coach Greg Bryant.
