Drill, baby, drill. Let’s everyone give applause to this great thought, then realize the devastation that it’s bringing to our Gulf Coast.

Why can’t we power our homes with alternative energy? Why not support the Pickens Plan of all heavy duty vehicles, use natural gas?

Why must we watch flames come out of factories and not recognize that it is wasted energy?

Why must we live with black coal dust on our houses and autos, when it could be refined into fuel, before it comes through our towns and blankets us with black dust?

Why should AK Steel in Ashland, Ky., be allowed to emit black dust, that ends up covering the personal possessions of people in South Point?

Let’s stop it.
