EMS providers save lives, make great difference
In honor of all the men and women who serve as first responders, EMTs and paramedics, May 16-22 is designated as National EMS Week.
This is a time to reflect on their hard work and dedication to our community.
These folks often battle harsh working conditions such as inclement weather, stressful situations and long hours.
Sometimes they miss their children’s extracurricular activities and family gatherings so they can provide emergency medical services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days of the year.
Let’s all take a moment to thank our local EMS providers this week. They are much more than “ambulance drivers.”
They provide life-saving care to you and your loved ones. Thank you to all EMS providers for making our community a better place to live.
