Mr. Roy Kevin Brown, 55, of Ironton passed away Monday, May 24, 2010, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 29, 1954. He was a member of the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Brown Whitlow; his step father, Gene Whitlow and his father, Lacey Baker.
Roy is survived by two sisters, Agnes Marie Brown of Hyattsville, Md. and Rose Brown Roach of Ironton; one niece, Kisha Marie Roach of Las Vegas, Nev.; special friends, Daphne Brown of Ironton, Dale and Diane Gunther of Ironton and Amy Gunther of Ironton.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Ironton with the Rev. David Peoples officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 – 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Tracy Brammer Funeral Home is in charge of the service.
