Sister Mary Monica Boll (Elizabeth Ruth Boll) went to her Lord on May 28, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, George A. and Emelia Orthmeyer Boll of Pine Creek. Also she was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, Anthony and George and three sisters, Martha Boll, Genevieve Boll and Clara Medinger. Sister Mary Monica is survived by one brother, Herman (sister-in-law Mary T) Boll of Wheelersburg; and four sisters, Agnes Kline, Margaret Schwab, Bernadette (brother-in-law Mike) Kinney, all of Ironton and Sister Paulette Boll of Columbus; and one sister-in law, Ruby Boll. She will be lovingly missed by family and many nieces and nephews.
She was a 1947 graduate of St. Joseph High School, Ironton and became a Sister of Charity of Nazareth, Ky. She was a teacher, principal, and administrator in Ohio, Kentucky and Mississippi.
A wake will be held on June 4 at Nazareth Home, Louisville, Ky. from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and a Prayer Service at the Motherhouse in Nazareth, Ky. at 6:30 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be at the Motherhouse in Nazareth, Ky. on June 5 at 10:30 a.m. with Father John Boll celebrant. Interment following in the Nazareth Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St Joseph School, Ironton or Sisters of Charity, Nazareth, Ky. 40048.
