PEDRO — Erma Kay Large, 63, of Pedro, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. The Pedro native was born Aug. 11, 1946, the daughter of the late Ovie and Edna Summers Keaton. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Carl Edgar Large, Sr., whom she married April 6, 1971.
Mrs. Large attended Decatur Washington School. She was a homemaker and a member of the Forest Ridge Community Church.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Keaton; a sister, Phyllis Ann Keaton; and two nephews, Carlos Sharp and Kim Sharp
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Carl Edgar Jr. and Rita Large of Pedro; a sister, Pat Keaton of Pedro; and a brother and sister-in-law, Wendell and Donna Keaton of Waterloo; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Forest Ridge Community Church with Rev. Kenny Jiles officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrence Furnace Cemetery.
