PINE GROVE — The Ladies Nine-Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club met for its weekly outing on Tuesday at the Pine Grove clubhouse meeting room.

Members shared news from the previous week and welcomed a former member, Jane Mains.

Hostess for the day was Joyce Lewis who provided refreshments for the morning and arranged groups for golf along with announcing the events.

Following lunch, the event winners were announced with Mains and Lewis winning an event and Jami Dyer four events.

Sunshine committee members Joyce Fields, Pat Lambert and Cecilia Woods have been keeping busing lately. The group sent speedy recovery wishes to missing members and said they are looking forward to their return.

This Tuesday’s hostess will be Christina Ballard. New members are always welcomed.

The group meets at 9 a.m. each Tuesday for a business meeting — complete with refreshments — followed by golf at 9:30.
