Ironton police

Gun shots — Vicinity of Third and Neal streets Saturday, negative contact.

Trouble — Family Dollar, Second Street Saturday, people on lot creating disturbance, advised.

Gun shots — 200 block North Sixth Street Saturday, negative contact.

Stolen vehicle — 1500 block South Fourth Street Saturday, 1996 blue Oldsmobile taken.

Trouble — Third and Monroe streets Saturday, one man taken to police station, cited to Ironton Municipal Court.

Trouble — 2200 block North Seventh Street Saturday, cat killed with BB gun, suspect named.

Complaint — 2700 block South Eighth Street Saturday, very drunk man trying to get into house, left, went to neighbor’s house, located, advised he was waiting on someone to get home.

Fight — JAB Lounge, South Third Street Sunday, all advised, one person later opted to file charges.

Complaint — 2400 block South 12th Street Sunday, 1994 blue/green Honda taken without permission.

Theft — 2500 block South 11th Street Sunday, money taken, suspect reportedly assaulted by victim, all advised.

Burglary — 900 block North Third Street Sunday, residence entered.

Fight — 1100 block South Eighth Street Sunday, man with brick, possibly also with gun, reportedly chasing people, located and sent home.

Theft— 800 block Adams Street Sunday, wallet taken.

Shoplifter — Speedway, Park Avenue Sunday, juvenile suspect taken to police station.

Trouble — Eighth and Walnut streets Sunday, man reportedly standing in street screaming, advised to be quiet.

Sheriff’s office

Animals running at large — Township Road 103A, Chesapeake Saturday, horses reportedly out of pasture, two gardens destroyed, owner cited to Lawrence County Municipal Court.

Theft — Chesapeake Middle School, County Road 1, Chesapeake Friday, purse taken from vehicle.

Domestic — Union Township Friday, woman reportedly assaulted, menaced, suspect also threatened to fight other family members, Michael V. Lambert, 18, County Road 3, Chesapeake arrested and taken to jail.

Domestic — Fayette Township Friday, man reportedly assaulted and threatened, another man pushed off porch, woman reportedly assaulted, April Massie, 41, 611 Second Ave., Chesapeake, Donald R. Massie, 45, and Charles R. Massie, 19, both of 132 Township Roads 1019, South Point, all arrested and taken to jail.

—Billy J. Barnett, 35, 28 Township Road 1367, South Point, disorderly conduct Saturday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

—Connie Cochran, 44, 2108 S. Fourth St., Ironton, outstanding warrant Sunday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

—Jeremiah L. Hall, 28, 1841 County Road 1, South Point, DUI, weaving Sunday by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

—Corey M. Perkins, 21, 283 Township Road 1026, South Point, outstanding warrant Saturday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
