St. Paul Lutheran of Ashland making final plans for preschool

ASHLAND, Ky. – It’s been talked about, prayed about and planned for a number of years. Now, it’s about the happen.
Leaders at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1320 Bath Ave, Ashland, are making final plans for the opening of the church’s new preschool later this summer.
Parents are invited to enroll their children now.The preschool has been named “Christ’s Kids.” It will operate from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. It will feature a preschool program for ages 3-4 that will meet from 9 a.m.- noon Monday through Friday that will emphasize structured learning of the basics of education foundations. The daylong program will reinforce what is learned
in the preschool program and provide other enrichment activities. Parents
may enroll their children in the daylong program or just the preschool.
Christ’s Kids will serve the community by providing quality Christian education that will impact the spiritual growth of young children. The Rev. Mark Kloha, pastor at St. Paul’s, said, “Opening our preschool is part of our mission heritage as we desire to provide a service to our community.
The purpose of Christian education is to guide, direct, and prepare a person for service in the home, community, and occupation.”

St. Paul’s is also accepting applications for staff and that information is also available by phone or the website.
