KITTS HILL — Wanda Lee Justice Nelson, 88, of Kitts Hill, died Thursday, July 1, 2010, at Sunset Nursing Home in Coal Grove.
The Arabia native was born July 4, 1921, the daughter of the late Amos Newton and Melvina Fradd Justice. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Clark Nelson, who died Aug. 26, 1994.
She was a 1939 graduate of Waterloo High School. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Waterloo United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Cobb and Mary Reed.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin and Debbie Nelson of Mechanicsburg, Mike and Lynn Nelson of Westmoreland, Tenn., and Jim and June Nelson of Arabia; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patty and Chuck Christian of Ironton and Sandy and Mike McComas of Waterloo; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home with Bethel Waugh L.S. officiating. Burial will follow in Bradshaw Cemetery. Friends may call noon-1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.
