SOUTH POINT — Gladys Leola Kearns, 90 of South Point, passed away Friday, July 9, 2010, in King’s Daughters Medical Center.  She was born Sept. 29, 1919, in South Point, to the late Henry and Alice Broughton Moore.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Kearns; two brothers and three sisters.   She is survived by four sons Gary (Sandra) Kearns of South Point, Ronnie (Gancie ) Kearns of Leesburg, Fla., Jim Kearns of Ironton and Tom and Jane Kearns of Ironton; nine grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.   She was a member of Southern Baptist Church in South Point.  Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday at Southern Baptist Church, South Point by Pastor Rick Kirk.  Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point.
