ROSALIE MULKEY

Rosalie Mulkey, 48, of Ironton passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at her residence. The Lawrence County native was born Jan. 14, 1962, the daughter of the late Charles and Doris Kellogg Harper.
Rosalie was a 1980 graduate of Rock Hill High School and a housewife. She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed knitting and crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Pete Harper; a sister, Mary Jane Blankenship; and a granddaughter, Brianna Rachelle Mulkey.
She is survived by husband, Newt Mulkey whom she married April 22, 1994;
daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Howard Webb of Ironton; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and John Reynolds of Ironton; son and daughter-in-law, James and Melissa Mulkey of Cleveland;
seven grandchildren, Amanda and her husband Dustin Reynolds, Charles Littlejohn, David Littlejohn, all of Ironton, and Chastina Bowman, Robert Mulkey, Britin Mulkey and Drew Tate, all of Cleveland; a special great-granddaughter, Kira Nicole Mulkey of Ironton; a special great- grandson, Dustin Ray Reynolds II of Ironton; four sisters, Vivian Adkins of Cincinnati, Carla Harper of Ironton,  Rita Harper of Ironton and Donna Bledso of Ironton; two brothers, John Harper and Roy Harper, both of Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday Phillips Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Henson and Mike Bevins officiating.  Burial will follow in Ice Creek Cemetery.  Friends may call Saturday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
