Seven Herd football games to be televised

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Seven Marshall football games will be televised nationally or regionally this season.

The games are part of a Conference USA package of more than 50 televised games announced Monday.

Marshall’s Sept. 2 opener at Ohio State will be available on the Big Ten Network.

CBS College Sports Network will carry the Thundering Herd’s Oct. 21 game at Southern Miss and the Nov. 27 home game against Tulane.

The Oct. 13 home game against UCF will be shown on ESPN, and ESPN2 will televise West Virginia at Marshall on Sept. 10.

The Comcast Sports Southeast regional schedule includes Marshall’s games at East Carolina on Oct. 23 and at UAB on Nov. 6.
