HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall University Athletics announced Tuesday that it will not offer a mini-season ticket package for the 2010 season.

“Due to the high rate of full season ticket sales for football we will not offer a mini-pack in 2010,” assistant director of athletics Randy Burnside said. “We are currently more than 2,500 season tickets ahead of where we were at this time last year in full season ticket sales.”

Marshall’s athletic ticket office will offer another Choose-A-Seat event on August 7 at Joan C. Edwards Stadium for fans interested in purchasing season tickets. Athletic Ticket Office staff will be at the stadium from 9 a.m. to Noon and again from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. to assist fans interested in purchasing season tickets. The two sessions coincide with Marshall Football’s scheduled practices that day.
