OHIO FURNACE — Barbara Jean Botkins, 53, of Ohio Furnace, passed away Wednesday July 21, 2010. The Ironton native was born March 26, 1957, the daughter of Clarence A. and Julia Aguayo Horner.
She was a graduate of Green High School and attended Ohio Furnace Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick Lee Botkins.
In addition to her parents Barbara is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Terra and Gerald Bennett of Ironton; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Thomas Steele of Ironton; son, Curtis Botkins and his fiancée, Kara Kinstler of Ironton; daughter, Katie Botkins of Ironton; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Ken Virgin of Portsmouth; brother and sister-in-law, Darrell and Carol Horner of Bastic; brother, Scott Horner of Ironton; brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Kim Horner of Wheelersburg; and four grandchildren, Kaylee Bennett, Garrett Bennett, Lakyn Steele and Levi Botkins.
She will be missed by many friends.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home with Brother Larry Lavender and Pastor Matt Mahew officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
