Public must help locate missing man

Someone knows what happened to Christopher L. Haas. Someone saw something or heard something that will help authorities solve this case.
It has been more than a week since the Lawrence County man has been seen at a Greasy Ridge gas station and then reported missing a few days later. His car was also found abandoned on a rural roadway.
The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office continues to pursue tips and look for leads on this case, but the reality of the situation is that every day that goes by, the likelihood of finding Haas safe and sound becomes less likely.
But there are clues out there. Friends and family know things, that while may not seem important at first glance, could be the key, to retracing the last days that Haas was seen.
We would have liked to have seen law enforcement release this information sooner than they did, garnering help from all media outlets in the Tri-State and getting as much information as possible out to the public.
The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office has taken the correct steps in the investigation that involves the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation. The sheriff’s office has worked hard to find information that could lead to answers.
However, without the public’s help, law enforcement agencie’s investigations will often grind to a halt.
Anyone with information about what Haas did in the hours and days leading up to his disappearance should contact the LCSO at (740) 532-3525.
The public has to help law enforcement find the right someone who has the answers.
