PINE GROVE — Last week Georgia Willis served as hostess as the Ironton Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association met on Tuesday at the Ironton Country Club.

A totla of 17 members are active in the club.

Willis served refeshments along with preparing the group for play and announced the weekly competitive events. She also conducted a brief business meeting.

On a sunny day with a balmy breeze, the ladies golfed and then enjoyed lunch while the winners were announced: Wanda Spears, Nancy Livingston and Pat Riggs.

Last week was the final week for the handicap tournament.

This Tuesday’s hostess is Cecilia Woods.

New members are always welcomed to the group. The club meets at 9 a.m. on Tuesdays for a brief meeting followed by golf at 10.
