SOUTH POINT — Wilford E. “Bub” Kelley, Jr., 67, of South Point, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. The Boyd County, Ky. native was born Jan. 14, 1943, the son of Loretta Bingham Kelley of Ironton and the late Wilford E. Kelley, Sr.
Mr. Kelley was a graduate of Ironton High School and a former maintenance worker with AK Steel, retiring after 30 years of service.
In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his fiancée, Teresa Arthur of South Point; daughter and son-in-law, Angel and Ray Redecker of Ashland; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lisa Kelley of Pedro; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Jackie and Keith Dodson of Hanging Rock and Becky Cunningham; a grandson, Harley Dale Kelley of Pedro; and a granddaughter, Jaden Riffe of Kitts Hill.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeremy Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in Slabfork Cemetery.
