HEATH —  A graveside service for William A. Conaway, 75, of Heath, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Wilson Cemetery, with Pastor William VanMeter officiating.
Bill was a retired supervisor for the Newark Air Force Base. He went to be with the Lord on Aug. 10, 2010, at his residence surrounded by his family.  He was born March 6, 1935, in Ironton to the late Charles Albert and Edna M. (Butler) Conaway.
He was an Army Reserve veteran. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Patty (Wilds) Conaway; son, Bob (Kris) Conaway of Hebron; two grandsons that he adored, Caleb and Travis Conaway both of Hebron who called him Poppy; brother, Bob Conaway of Ashland, Ky.; sister-in-law, Becky Conaway of Ashland, Ky.; niece, Stacy Lynn Conaway of Ashland, Ky.; and several cousins.
